i’m a poet?

well – i’m not really a poet – but i like to dabble in writing.  for the past year or so, i’ve been trying to write more.

then i set a new year’s resolution about writing a poem a month.  a good goal – and one i’ve met so far.

but i haven’t had a place to keep my poems.

and i haven’t been brave enough to let others read them.

so i thought – maybe i’d try this.  we’ll see.

my april poem will be coming soon.  maybe i’ll  post-date some work.  i’ve got a january, a february, and a march poem.

and a may one is rattling around in my head.

so here’s to words – and poems – and creativity – and goals!
